Everytime I look at a pay stub, I get angry just thinking about my taxes. It's not that I object to the idea of taxes, just that I don't think they're being allocated the way they should be.
Wouldn't it be interesting if every taxpayer was given the choice of which buckets they wanted to allocate their taxes (e.g. Healthcare, education, public works, national security, foreign aid, etc.) and lawmakers had to enact policies whose budgets were constrained by the tax dollars actually allocated?
